News Quiz

For the last few years I have found a love for NPR. Who new that Public Radio could be so entertaining? Over the past few years most FM radio has gone downhill in my perspective. All the stations are owned by the same companies and they all play the same music. So when I was spending a significant amount of time in my car commuting from San Diego to Los Angeles I ventured out to the world of public broadcasting. The news content was much better than you could get on local tv channels with much more world events coverage and the special programing is great.

Best of all was the discovery of a hilarious weekly news quiz show called "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me". I highly recommend you downloading the podcast or listening on your local station on Saturdays. The show is oddly informative and amazingly entertaining as a panel of comedians, writers and journalist make fun of the weeks news. My husband and I listen to it every week to keep us company while we clean the house.

Hey Riss,
Just found your link for this blog. I've only caught "Wait Wait..." a couple of times, but I would listen to NPR most mornings and afternoons while commuting over the Teton Pass.
